Our approach

Our integrated approach means: together, with and for the community, integrating social, economic and physical competences. With our multidisciplinary team we work with respect for and trust in each other's expertise. A team of professionals speaking the same language, aiming to improve not only the physical environment but first and foremost the social and economic reslience of the people in its community.

Regarding the physical, one of the strengths of Dutch designers' methodology from a perspective lies in the integration of space within and between the buildings, at the intermediate urban scale.

The integration of the social and economic in the configuration and organization of the program within urban design is decisive and leads to a long lasting positive impact: sustainability at the social, economic and physical level.

Another strength of Dutch Design is the extensive use of sustainable technologies. From the urban scale to the local neighborhood, innovation in the built environment is evident. Many innovations stem from necessity, for example the Delta Works Projects, from which we have developed our ability to live in harmony with the sea. As we embrace forward thinking applications for technology, perhaps some of the more noteworthy advances have been in 'low-tech'solutions, redefining new conceptual organization of the building program. More and more these provisions are becoming a common part of the Dutch design practice.

Our projects focus on common and urgent societal questions. Our team embodies the integrated thinking that is necessary to meet community objectives.
